1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using uShortify, you agree to be bound by these terms of use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the service.

2. Account Plans

uShortify is offered on Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans, each with its own limits on the number of URLs, monthly clicks, and available features such as custom aliases, password protection, link expiration, QR codes, analytics, and API access. Full details of each plan are available on our pricing page and may change from time to time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use uShortify to shorten links pointing to malware, phishing pages, illegal content, or content that infringes on others' rights. We reserve the right to disable any short link, or suspend any account, that violates this policy.

4. Your Content and Links

You are solely responsible for the destination URLs you shorten and any content accessible through your short links. You retain ownership of your account data; by using the service you grant us the license needed to store, redirect, and generate analytics for your links.

5. Intellectual Property

The uShortify name, branding, and platform code remain the intellectual property of uShortify unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the platform without permission.

6. API Access

API access, where included in your plan, is subject to fair-use rate limits. API keys are personal to your account and must not be shared or exposed publicly. We may revoke API access if it is used to exceed reasonable rate limits or to abuse the service.

7. Billing and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed through Razorpay on a recurring basis. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time; downgrades and cancellations take effect according to your billing cycle, and previously created short links continue to redirect even after a downgrade.

8. Third-Party Links

Short links created through uShortify may redirect to external sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those destination sites.

9. Limitation of Liability

We strive for high availability, but uShortify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from service interruptions, redirect failures, or data loss, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account that violates these terms, including abuse of the service, non-payment, or attempts to disrupt normal operation of the platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in our jurisdiction of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
